Key Stage 2

Saplings

Where roots grow deeper: curious, capable children stretching their thinking, working more independently and finding out what they love to learn.

WELCOME TO SAPLINGS CLASS

Stretching and growing

Saplings is home to our Years 3 and 4 children, the years when learning stretches and deepens. Building on strong foundations, they take on richer topics across every subject, from writing longer stories to exploring science, history and the world beyond the village.

These are the years of growing independence. Children learn to organise themselves, work through trickier challenges with resilience, and discover the interests and strengths that will carry them through the rest of primary school.
