Online safety is an integral part of safeguarding and requires a whole school, cross-curricular approach and collaboration between key school leads. Accordingly, this policy is written in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ 2022 (KCSIE), ‘Teaching Online Safety in Schools’ 2019, statutory RSHE guidance 2019 and other statutory documents.

At Weeton St Michael’s Primary School, we believe that a positive, relational school culture is the foundation for excellent behaviour. This policy sets out how we cultivate an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and growth in line with our Christian ethos and core values.
This charging and remissions policy complies with statutory requirements and is reviewed on an annual basis.
Weeton St Michael’s fully recognises the contribution we can make to protect children from harm and to support and promote the welfare of all children who are pupils at our school. This policy applies to all stakeholders; this includes pupils, staff, parents, governors,
volunteers, placement students and visitors.
This complaints procedure is not limited to parents or carers of children that are registered at the school. Any person, including members of the public, may make a complaint to Weeton St Michael’s about any provision of facilities or services that we provide. See policy for more information

At Weeton St Michael's Primary School, we are committed to ensuring the dignity, safety, and well-being of all our pupils. We recognize that some children may require assistance with intimate care due to age, disability, or medical needs. This policy outlines our procedures to ensure that intimate care is provided in a respectful, safe, and consistent manner.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils, staff, and visitors at Weeton St Michaels Primary School in the event of a lockdown or invacuation situation. This policy outlines the procedures to be followed, the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders, and the review mechanisms to ensure the policy remains effective.
It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in school-organised events outside normal school hours. We ask
children to wear their shirts tucked into their skirts, shorts or trousers and to take a pride in
their personal appearance.
This policy has been created by the school’s Headteacher Mr Luke Smith and SENCO Mrs Nicola Rillie and is to be used initially for consultation purposes with governors, staff and parents & carers of pupils with special educational needs and disability.
