As Investigators we are...
Science: Electricity. Recognising electrical symbols, understanding the components of a circuit, creating simple circuits and explaining why different components are needed for different circuits.
As Enquirers we are...
Geography: North America. Discovering the continent, how it differs from the UK, why industry is important and how children's lives are different. History: WW2. How people's lives changed after WW1, why WW2 happened, who Chamberlain was and the speech he gave, then the impact of WW2 on the North West. RE: Life as a journey. Is every person's journey the same, and why do people of faith make pilgrimages? At Christmas, how our celebrations reflect its true meaning.
As Creators we are...
Art: Drawings. Learning about Henry Moore and understanding perspective, vanishing point and horizon, then completing a drawing in his style. Music: Technology. The difference between digital and live sound, how technology is used in the music industry and why music brings people together.
