Oak Class consists of Year 5 and 6. Our aim is to provide an inclusive, challenging and supportive learning environment for the children. 

Curriculum

Reading

Children are encouraged to read daily and reading records are checked every Friday to ensure this is taking place. Children are welcome to change there books whenever they have finished that book. 

PE

PE is on a Monday and Swimming takes place on a Tuesday. 

Homework 

Homework is given out every Friday, and it is to be returned by the following Friday. Spellings will also be given on  a Friday and children will be tested on these the following Friday. Please see the spelling list for this half-term below.
