Our School

We are a small, Church of England primary school in rural Fylde with currently 54 children on roll who are organised into three classes in the morning and two in the afternoon:

Our Acorn Class: Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Our Sapling Class: Years 3 and 4.

Our Oak Class: Years 5 and 6.

In the afternoon, both junior classes learn together with one teacher and 3 TAs. All classes benefit from at least one full time Teaching Assistant to support learning, giving an average ratio of 1 adult for every 9 children

Acorn Class are housed in a brand new, self-contained modular building. All classes have access to their own dedicated outdoor learning space. The Millenium Garden is used by all classes for forest school activities.

We are very proud of our strong Christian, family ethos and the way we all care for and look after each other. Our children are polite, friendly and welcoming. Our commitment to developing the academic, creative, moral, social, spiritual and cultural potential of all of our children threads through all of our learning and provides lots of opportunities for them to become inspired and enthusiastic lifelong learners.
